Discovery of Indian artifacts complicates Genesis solar project - The letter from the chairman of the Colorado River Indian Tribes was pleading and tough. It asked President Obama to slow the federal government's "frantic pursuit" of massive solar energy projects in the Mojave Desert because of possible damage to Native American cultural resources.
Paragraph 10 has a question, part of which includes the words "... the need to rapidly build solar and wind projects to meet the enormous threat of global climate change..." There are still a number of highly qualified scientists who contest the IPCC Report on Global Climate Change conclusion that manmade CO2 is the principle cause of global climate change and there are reports out of Europe indicating that their massive investment in wind and solar there has done little to impact CO2 emissions there. The climate of the Earth has been changing "enormously" since the Earth came into existense. In more recent times, relatively speaking, we have gone there have been Ice Ages and retreats from them during periods when the contribution of manmade CO2 was virtually nonexistent. There have been past ages when the Earth was much warmer and man did not even exist on the planet.
